What is Zion's mission statement?
We are a welcoming Church. We share the words of God and the love of God with everyone. We are a place where people can come for comfort, peace, love and to feel the presence of God.

What about Zion's worship services?
We offer a blended/traditional service at 10:45 am. As you worship with us, we want you to feel welcomed regardless of which service you attend or when.

Where is Zion located?
South St. Louis County. Half a mile north of Reavis Barracks and Union Rd. For more detailed directions click here.

I'm not a Methodist, am I welcomed?
Jesus wasn't a Methodist either. All are welcomed within the doors of Zion.

What should I wear?
At Zion UMC, it's all about our relationship with Jesus Christ. During worship you'll see shorts, jeans, suits, tee-shirts and ladies in hats. There is no dress code.

Where should I sit?
Anywhere you want to is fine. There is no prescribed seating at Zion.

Is child care available during the services?
At all services, there are "Safe Sanctuary" certified, Zion staff child care workers in our nursery located on the lower level.

Do you have a "Cry Room"?
If baby gets a little fussy, we have a room with a glass window, piped in sound, and comfy chairs for you to use.

I'm "hearing impaired." What about me?
We have special hearing assist head sets. Just ask an usher to get you a set.

How about parking?
We are handicapped accessible with everything on our main floor. Wehave ample parking.

What about Communion?
We observe the sacrament of Communion (the sharing of the bread and cup) on the first Sunday of every month and on certain special celebrations. We do not serve wine. Our Communion is open to all, both adult and child.

Do you offer Sunday School?
The Sunday School time for both children and adults is at 9:30 a.m.

How do I get involved?
There is a page in the bulletin called the "Connect Card" where you can indicate your desire or there are "getting involved" brochures in the rack outside the sanctuary. Or better yet, tell someone and they'll help you get involved.

What if I want to join Zion?
Use the "Connect Card" or call the church office, Monday-Friday. You'll need to talk to the Pastor.

What if I just need to talk to the Pastor?
Again, use the "Connect Card" or call the office.
